Heritage Children's Ministry

Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,
So are the children of one's youth.
Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them
Psalm 127:3-5
Heritage is the children's ministry at King of Glory, occurring every Sunday morning during the Celebration Service for ages 1 to 10 years old. Children are encouraged to worship with their families then are dismissed during the sermon to age-appropriate classes.
Classrooms are currently split into three age groups: Ready (Crawlers - 3 years), Aim (PreK - 1st Grade) and Fire (2nd - 4th Grade). Toddlers have the opportunity to "play with Jesus" in the Ready Room while being blessed by adults and teens. Children in the Aim Room learn Bible stories and do crafts designed for their specific developmental needs. Older children gather in the large Fire Room for a time of energizing music, multi-media, games and relevant teaching.
At King of Glory, we desire to create a fun and safe environment for families with children. Snacks for the day are posted at the check-in station, and alternatives are available in case of dietary restrictions. Each Heritage worker has a background check on file. Parents are welcome to visit their children at any time during the service.
Family Fun Nights are scheduled periodically for families to connect outside of Sunday mornings. Here are a few upcoming events:
Family Movie Night - November 18th
Family Christmas Party - December 9th
