Life Groups

We believe transformation and community happen best in the context of small groups and meaningful relationships.  Our Care Groups are located all over the Asheville area in order to provide a friendly, loving place for you and your family to plug in!  For questions on any particular group, please contact the group facilitator listed below.  For general questions, please contact the Sheree Wright.

Boatwright Group
Facilitators: Sam & Jan Boatwright.  This group is focused on Fellowship, Bible Study & Prayer.  We meet on the 1st Tuesday evening of each month at 6:30 pm in various homes located within Laurel Ridge in Black Mountain. Miller Group
Facilitators: Jason & Kim Miller.  Join us for a time of fun and fellowship in an atmosphere that nurtures friendship, spiritual support and prayer.  Anyone who finds the location convenient is invited to attend.  Children are welcome & encouraged!!!  We meet every Saturday evening 6:45-9:00pm at the Miller Home in Swannanoa, NC.  For more information, contact Kim at (828) 581-0195 or via email at kim@millerincwnc.com.

Gorman Group
Facilitators: Kevin & Elaine Gorman. This group shares a meal, followed by varied activities including Bible study, group games, and prayer for individual needs. Children are welcome. We meet once a month on a Sunday evening beginning at 5:00 pm at the Gorman home in Black Mountain, NC. Robertson Group

The Fellowship

Wiseman-Floyd Group
Facilitators: Michael & Annie Wiseman-Floyd. This missions-focused group gathers at the church building to encourage one another and pray for KOG-supported missionaries, the nations, and those who feel called to serve abroad. The Asheville Worship Studio
Facilitator: Matt Tommey. A weekly group for artisans and musicians to build meaningful relationships and explore the relationship between our faith and creative expression. Meets every Monday at 7:00pm. For more information, e-mail matt@kingofglorycc.com.

Torah Study
Facilitators: George & Kathleen Busch. We apply the Word of God to our lives through faith sharing and aim to discover our Jewish roots. The first five books of the Bible are our primary focus, as they are the key to unlocking the rest of the Bible. We meet every Saturday 10am-12pm at the Busch Home in Laurel Ridge.
