5 Pillars of Culture
At King of Glory, we center our life around 5 Pillars of Culture. These are signposts that the Lord has given us to keep us focused on our mission of Advancing His Kingdom through a Culture of Love & Healing.
Culture of Worship: Our first ministry is to God. We know it's only in His presence - through intimacy, His Word and the Holy Spirit - that we are changed and equipped to advance His Kingdom. In our corporate and individual lives, we place special attention on ministering to the Lord, while pursuing a lifestyle of worship; our number one priority.
Culture of Prayer: Jesus said, "My Father's house will be a house of prayer." At King of Glory we believe that prayer should be our first response, not our last resort. Everything we do is birthed in prayer as we seek His face, both corporately and individually.
Culture of Healing: As a church, we are committed to ministering the love of God to the hurting and broken. Jesus was moved with compassion to see people saved, healed and delivered (Sozo). He promised as we walk in faith and wholeness, we would do greater works than He did; with signs and wonders following.
Culture of Community: Our church is an equipping center - preparing a generation of people, both young and old, to fulfill their God-given destiny in the Kingdom. We believe spiritual growth happens best through authentic relationships in the context of families & small groups. Our desire is to see Malachi 4:6 mandate fulfilled in our church.
Culture of Transformation: Real transformation comes as a result of an encounter with Jesus through His Word and the power of the Holy Spirit. As we walk-out transformed lives, serving and honoring others, our city and nation will be transformed by the power and presence of God.
